During COVID 19, our Emergency Fund will support Indo-Caribbean women and gender-fluid people residing in New York who are in crisis and in need of immediate financial support. Priority will be given to survivors of gender based violence, however, we will consider requests from others due to the increased need in our community at this time.

As part of our response to the pandemic, we are increasing our emergency funding and accepting donations.

Funds can support the cost of food, baby items, child care, moving, temporary housing, attorney's fees, and emerging needs during COVID 19.

If you or someone you know would like to submit a request for emergency funds, please call 347.201.4931 or email JahajeeSisters@gmail.com.

Jahajee Sisters is a project of the Center for Transformative Action.
